LIONS CLUB DIWALI MELA
LIONS CLUB presents Diwali Mela. Lions Club is organizing this event for women to explore more , for them to enjoy and even to organize themselves as a business woman by showcasing them on their stalls . The club will also award prices and gifts to some lucky ones .
Punjabi Mahasabha, Khatima
Lohri, the harvest festival of India is one of the popular Indian festival celebrations of India which is basically celebrated in the states of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and other nearby states of North India. On the day of Lohri celebration, people gather around the bonfires, throw sweets, popcorns and puffed rice in the flame. Also they move around the bonfire and sing popular songs of Lohri.
Uttarayani koutik
The Uttarayani Fair is generally held in the second week of January every year on the holy occasion of Makar Sankranti. It is held at a number of places in Kumaon region of Uttarakhand including Bageshwar, Ranibagh, and Hanseswari, though the biggest fair has historically been that of Bageshwar. The ground of the sacred Bagnath Temple in Bageshwar, on the banks of River Saryu, becomes the venue for the fair which goes on for a week. During the Mela, when it is said the sun moves from Southern Hemisphere to Northern Hemisphere, it is reckoned auspicious to take a dip in the water of the river.
janmashtami celebration
Janmashtami or more popularly known as Krishna Janmashtami is the birthday of Lord Krishna which is celebrated with great fervour and zeal in India during the monsoon month. According to the Hindu calendar this religious festival is celebrated on the Ashtami of Krishna Paksh or the 8th day of the dark fortnight in the month of Bhadon.

Participating in a GK quiz or answering general knowledge questions in a fun way will make them look forward to it. Once your child gets interested in the basic information, their curiosity will drive them to know more and more about a topic.
run for unity
The “Run for Unity”, marking the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, was held here on Thursday. The birth anniversary is celebrated as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas or National Unity Day.
